Sustainable in. Sustainable out.
We source sustainable and recycled material to build our products. Our pine wood has PEFC™ certification by meeting standards for sustainable forest management and chain of custody verification. Our reclaimed lumber is sourced locally from barn teardowns, and our steel is salvaged from Pacific Northwest metal yards by the ocean. Our 100% sustainable/organic candles and household product lines are also a testiment to our eco-friendly commitment.
Finally, when it's time for products to leave our warehouse we choose recycled packing paper and also plant a tree through One Tree Planted. We select plantings in regions devastated by deforestation and forest fires.
Since 2017
It started simple
Our interest in farmhouse woodworking began when furnishing our first home on a limited budget. We didn't want particle board wood products from the likes of IKEA and Wayfair so we set out to build our own. The simple pine shelves we built back then with recycled steel brackets is still our top seller five years later!
We work out of a 36x22 semi-attached barn on our property that gives us enough space for our tool setup and large stock of reclaimed wood and milled slabs. Being in a prime spot in the northeast, we can ship our products free within the continental US! We are also willing to travel within the tri-state area for the right project.
